Because the insurance market is a complex one, made more difficult by the language barriers existing in Thailand, the client needs an adviser to find them the necessary and most advantageous contracts. That is the job of a broker, some brokers have their own websites where they consult customers and there are good and bad as in Europe, so you need to find the best advisers for you.

A good broker should help you with any insurance matter, diverse products or what legal terms mean. We recommend the following guide lines to finding the right adviser for yourself.
The decision of which insurance is appropriate for every individual customer is the most important thing. For example, your house contents insurance should be sufficient that in the event of a house fire it covers the cost of your replacement furniture.
Health insurance is essential here, and you are never too young to start, because with increasing age there is less chance of being insured, the older you are the more difficult if not impossible it is to find an insurer, i.e. increasing age, increasing risk.
Personal liability insurance is absolutely necessary for everyone to have, with very low contributions it can protect against financial ruin. Also important are still contents and building insurance for home owners and if you have a car then car insurance is unconditionally a must.
